Naughtiest Dog Contest!!

I think I have the naughtiest dog in the world. If there is a contest I am pretty sure he would win. Well it would be kind of close with Lucy (Carrin's Dog).
Today we were having a great day. I have let him be outside a lot. He loves to just run around the back yard. He had just come back into the house. I was sitting on one of the couches. Just watching him play with one of his millions of toys. And he gets up walks toward the front door, (I am thinking he is looking for Gabe to play with) and squats and starts peeing!!!
Are you kidding me!! He has been doing so good.
See his previous owner, never trained him, so until Buddy came to live with me, he just got to pee and poo where ever he wanted (I know gross right?). It has been quite the long road to get him potty trained, and just when I think he is doing really good, NOPE!!
So I have taken all his toys away, and put them up out of his reach. And I won't be giving him anymore alcohol, until he get it under control. Am I being to hard on him?

Tag Your It!! (No Tag Backs!!)

Quite a while ago my sister Tagged me in a blog and I have been on blogging vacation. Ok not really, but I just haven't really had anything to say lately. I know I can't believe it either so I thought just so no one started wondering if I had fallen off the earth here it goes.
Of course there are rules,

1) Mention the person who nominated you my sister unit Carrin

2 ) List 6 unimportant things that make you happy.
1) Reese's PB cups. (there is nothing better then PB & Chocolate. Umm Yummy!!)
2) Having a little kid run their fingers through my hair. (my sister's girls always used to
play with my hair when I had longer hair. Now that we all have short hair it doesn't
happen anymore, but it was always so fun to have them run their fingers thru my hair,
and come up with the most ridiculous looks and they thought they were beautiful)
3) Puppy kisses. Every morning Buddy wakes me to tell me he has to go potty with kisses. I
hate it, but I love it too. It always puts a smile on my face.
4) Dr Pepper. Oh the Doctor is in. I love the spicy bubbly feeling of my first Dr Pepper of the
morning. Some people like Coffee, I like Dr P.
5) Little kids laughing. I loving the sound of ANY little kid laughing. Whether from me
tickling them, or from swinging high, or running around a tree outside. It doesn't matter
why they are laughing, as long as they are laughing. There is nothing better.
6) Family. I love my family. As disfunctional as they are, they are something that makes me
happy. Extremely happy.
3) Tag 6 blogs. Well I only have 6 people who follow me, so I will tag all of you!! Not that you have to do it. It was just something to put out here since it had been awhile. Hope you all have a great weekend.

100 .... & Counting!

So this is my 100th post. It seems like just yesterday that I started blogging. Since everyone that reads my blog is family, except 1 (hey April). I didn't really know how to celebrate. I don't want to do a 100 things to know about me. All you need to know is 1, I am FABULOUS!! I didn't want to do a big episode like killing someone (hello Grey's Anatomy) or any of the other cheesy ways that shows celebrate their 100th episode. So what does that leave?

I guess instead of making a big post of things about me, I will just post some of my favorite pictures.
1 shot down on my 30th Birthday. Not sure how many came after that one.

Mo, Carrin Me, & Megz!

Noah asleep in the car. Not sure
where we were coming from.

Spencer B. Holding off the Paparazzi at an early age.

Miss Thang @ G&G Schuler's. She
was so young and still always looking
for trouble. She started at a young age.

Carey B. & me. We are BFF's (if it is still ok
to call someone that when you are 32.)

And of course Buddy!!

Seriously, Seriously?

I have a bank. A bank I used to work. About a month ago I got a letter, saying that my debit card was part of file that had compromised, and as a procaution they were going to send me a new debit card. (Hey great thanks for being on top that. That is really awesome.) I was impressed they caught it admitted it and took care of the situation.

Thursday I went to use my debit card that was compromised, and it was declined. Sales girl Say What? I had just gotten paid, I had paid one bill I should have more then enough $$$ to cover the $14.00 purchase I was trying to make. She ran it again. I called my bank. DECLINED again. Checked my balance, Yup all $$$ I thought should be there was. Lucky I had cash on me (for anyone who knows me this rarely happens.) I NEVER have cash on me, except this time I was supposed to take 2 boys to see a baseball game earlier that week, and it got cancelled, so I still had the cash. Paid my bill walked out all embarassed. Called the bank again. Oh yup we cancelled your card, you should have gotten the new card. Nope sure didn't but thanks for making things more difficult for me.

Saturday, I went online to make a transfer to my second checking account, since I have a card for that account, that hasn't been cancelled. Online banking was down, (they are updating or somehting) called the telephone banking, $$$ was in there, or so I thought. Got fuel, went to Mo's 1st communion, went to breakfast afterwards, paid for part. Went to check my account today, (It's PayDay), and it is showing the transfer never happened. WHAT!! Let me look again. Checking 1, NOPE, checking 2, NOPE!! Ok this is a problem now.

Call the bank, yup we are showing the transfer, ok great, can you tell if there are any fess on the account, well I'm showing the transfer. Didn't anwer my question. FEES, lady. I want to make sure everything on my accounts are good, you know make sure I didn't forget to log something in my account. Answer I'm showing the transfer. Ok!! Hang up.

This is totally frustrating. Give me a break. And today I wrote my last check. Please oh please Debit Card come today, so I don't have to do this anymore. And please oh please Online Banking get updated and correct. I live and die, by my debit card, and online banking. I check my account every day. I rarely use anything but my debit card. Except if I have to write a check to my mom, or my sister, or some one like that. They don't except credit cards, yet. Maybe someday. Then I can get rid of checks altogether.

Drinking Buddies!!

So Buddy was drinking with his CREW tonight. He loves his BOYS (as he calls them) so he thought I should introduce you all to his crew,
So here you Go!

This is Dragon.
He is the bad ass of the group. Always firing off his mouth.
He is the one that usually gets the others in trouble

This is Mr Booda,
(Barry for short)
He is the sensible one. He always try to talk the
others out of the trouble they come up with
when they are drinking.

This is Opie 2
(the orginal Opie is no more)
He is a little grabby!!
Sometimes the girls like it and
sometimes they don't. Buddy doesn't
always like that he says it cramps his style.

This is Mr. Moo
You have meet him before. He and Buddy are prison partners.
Not in a weird kind of way, but they spend their days together.
I am sure there are lots of stories, they share.

And this is Victor the Viking.
He is Buddy's Football friend.
Buddy plays with him and chews his ass when the Packer's are playing.
See we are Cheeseheads, here and proud of it and as everyone knows.
Cheeseheads, don't like Vikings. So I guess Victor isn't really his "friend"
but he does live at our house, and we do like to throw him around
and beat him up when we are watching football!

This crew is TROUBLE!!
They talk and play for hours and hours!!
They take all sorts of abuse from Buddy.
Buddy picks and choose who he plays with and when.
More often then not he is seen hanging out with Opie 2.

It gets a little expensive to buy beer for all these guys. Trust me. But Buddy insists, if he is drink so is his CREW!! And I have to admit watching Buddy with his Crew is pretty entertaining.

Weekend in the Sticks

This weekend I took this with me

To visit the Brown's in the Iowa Sticks.

(Shane, Carey, & Princess Josie)

This is Josie, who turned 4 today. And she had a birthday party this weekend. She is super cute, and just a little bit (whole lot) to smart for her own good.

Mo & I got up there after a 3 hour drive thru the Iowa country side. When we got there Josie, is usually so excited to see me, she runs up and gives me a great big huge hug, and can't stop talking to me. This time. It was like I wasn't even there. It was all about Tah-Tah's friend.

After we got in the house, and I told Josie she could call Tah-Tah's friend "Mo", the rest of the weekend all we heard, was "Hey Mo", "Hey Mo", "Hey Mo".

Saturday we went to run some errands, and on our our way, we stopped to see some of these. Just up the road from the Brown's are some goats that the owner couldn't keep fenced in, so they just roam free between to farms (one is abandoned).

Later on that afternoon we went back and the girls got to feed the
goats. They LOVED IT!!

Saturday night we had a bonfire (sorry no pics) and Sunday we woke up and went to church and then Josie's Princess party. We had to leave early, so I don't have any pictures of that either, but it was a wonderful time. Mo behaved herself, and Josie had a wonderful time with Tah-Tah's friend "Mo"!!

Buddy the drinking dog, didn't not get to make the trip. He had to stay home with Gabe, and Ruth. when I got home on Mother's day, I got lots of kisses, and lots of snuggles, on the couch.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there.

I am not techniclly a mother unless you count my dog, which won't be buying me a present. But I do help all of you who are mother's out there have a great day. It is truly a special gift to be a mother.

When your children are younger, you are the whole world to them. You are the most beautiful person in the world to them. You are the one they want when they are hurt, when they are happy. You get to teach them everything you know. You get to help make them into the people they will become.

When your children are grown up, you might feel like they don't need you as much anymore, but they do. They just need you in different ways. They need you to pick them up when they fall down. They need you to come and visit and take care of the grandkids. They need to just know you are still their mom.

I have a great mother. I feel blessed every day to have the mother that I have. I wrote a post about My Mom recently. So I won't go on about her here. I don't do a very good job of sending her cards for her Birthday, or for Mother's day. And she has everything she could want or need, except for a reconcilation with my brother (which if I could make happen I would, but I only have so much magic, and it doesn't cover the impossible). So this year, I found this really cool opportunity to do something different for her for Mother's Day. I adopted an animal from the Henry Doorly Zoo.

Buddy wasn't to happy about me apopting another animal even if it was for Nana Sheri, until I explained to him that it wasn't going to come and live with us. It would still live in the house it lives in now, so he wouldn't have to share his toys, or make room in our bed for the bear. Then he was all for it, and thought it would be a great present for Nana Sheri.

So mom from Buddy and I Happy Mother's Day. We love you tons, and are so happy to have you in our lives.

Jail Break!!

This is Buddy's BFF Mr Moo.
They hang out all day long. I am sure Buddy tells him all the time what a horrible pet I am for leaving him in the kennel while I go out to make the $$$ to keep him in the booze, and cigarettes. So every couple of days Buddy tires to help his BFF out. He organize a jail break.
This takes a lot of planning on Buddy's part. He wants to make sure I am not paying to close of attention, because if I notice him going in to spring his friend, he might get locked up with him. He kind of wanders over by the kennel (which is kept in our storage room, so it is not always right where he can get to it) then wanders away and back over by me, and then wanders back over to the kennel. As soon as my back is turned, and I am not paying attention, he darts in to the kennel, grabs his friend, and then darts back out before I can every catch him. Then he is so SUPER proud of helping his friend out, he runs a couple of victory laps. He Yells to his friend, "You are free, You are Free. Aren't I the bestest Buddy in the whole world."

Back on the Horse!!

So as you may have read in my last post, Buddy has not been able to drink for a couple of days. Poor guy. Yesterday before I left for work, he asked me if he was OK to drink again. I said I thought so he was off his meds, so it should be ok. He gave me his cute little smile, and asked me to pick him up a sixer on my way home since it was pay day.
So on my way home I stopped at the store, and picked up a few things. When I got home I didn't even get a "Hey Mom" All I got was a "Do you got my stuff?" Seriously. No kisses, no hugs like usual? I guess that is what happens when you take his booze away for a couple of days. Oh well. I got the sixer out and started to crack one open for him. I then started to mix me a UV Vodka and Lemonade. He stopped and asked what I was doing. So I told him, and he asked if he could have some of that stuff. I started to mix it up for him, and he said "NO just give me the bottle."
I tried to tell him you were supposed to mix it with Lemonade, but he was having none of that. So he had a few drinks, and started to get chatty. I could not get him to shut up, so I sent him outside for a little while. He went out to the fence to look for his girl Abby.
She didn't come out. He tried to call her name and she still didn't come out. He came back inside, and was a little upset. He was wondering where his girl was. I tried to explain to him that maybe she had some chores to do that she didn't have done yet, or who was still working on her homework. He wasn't buying it. So....
He asked me what else I had on hand. I told him I had a little vodka, so he asked me for a shot!! Like the champ he is he licked it up!!

We chatted a little more, and had some good conversations. Well at least he had some stuff to say... I just had to listen. He told me how excited he is to go fishing in August. He hears it is a good drinking time. He told me about how much he is looking forward to seeing Nana Sheri and Grandpa George and hope they have presents for him. I told him that wasn't very nice. You cant just see people because they buy you presents. He said he would just be happy if they had some booze on hand for him. He talked a little bit about what a rough life he has. You know how hard it is to look cute all the time. How I always expect him to be happy when I get home from work, how tough it is to be a puppilite. Just ask Paris Hilton. It is a tough life to live in the spolight all the time. I told him I didn't feel a bit sorry for him, seeing as how he couldn't do any of the chores I left for him to do every day so I had to do his chores and my own. He didn't care. So after he got that stuff off his chest he decided like all men that he wanted to try to show off for the girl again.
He ran up and down the yard. Did some jumps. Tried to do all he could to get Abby to come out and hang out, but in the end it didn't work. Poor guy. He was a pretty upset. I had to take the booze away so he didn't drink all night. He wasn't happy about this, but after a couple of minutes just passed out. He was this morning moving just as quick as ever. Seriously. No hang over? What a champ.

Buddy

So I had a message wondering why there have been no new posts about Buddy and his drinking. Did he give it up? Did he go to rehab? What happened.

Well Buddy had to give up the sauce for a little bit. He was having a little problem with his butt. Yes you heard me his butt. I took him to the vet and $135.00 I was told he has some allergies, and this affects his butt. (I know right sounds weird). But apparently this is something that happens often in dogs. Because of his butt problem, which C thought might be because of his drinking problem (you know we all have butt problems from drink at times) he had to give up his beer for a couple of days. But don't you worry he was feeling better last night and today is payday so I am sure he will be waiting at home wagging his little tail, and wondering if I brought him home his Bud!!

I'll update all of you tomorrow with what happens.
